Client/Brand: Samsung Electronics — CSR Campaign “Hope Stepping Stone”

Overview
This video project was produced as part of Samsung’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative “Hope Stepping Stone,” which supports young adults aging out of childcare institutions in South Korea. The video aimed to communicate the emotional and social value of the program by showcasing its impact on the lives of its beneficiaries.
Process
• Designed emotionally resonant CG elements, such as title cards and subtitles, to support each personal story
• Created infographics and visualized social statistics (e.g., unemployment rates, housing instability) to inform and engage viewers
• Directed the overall art style and transitions to maintain alignment with Samsung’s brand identity while emphasizing emotional storytelling
• Collaborated closely with the editorial and script team to synchronize visuals with interviews and voiceovers for narrative cohesion and clarity
Outcome/Results
The video was widely used in both online and offline CSR channels, helping to raise awareness of the challenges faced by self-reliant youth. By combining personal narratives with visual storytelling, the project successfully delivered a powerful emotional message and reinforced Samsung’s commitment to social impact.
